Depict Research

The first short that i will be reviewing is a piece called Candy Crime by Ben Jacobson in 2011. I like this piece due to the fact  that it is a modern scenario set in black and white. The thing i enjoy the most is how the scenario is a defenseless girl with some sweets and you expect  something bad to happen but it takes an unexpected turn. Also i like how simple the camera work is, because even though it is simple, it makes sure it puts across the meaning of the film in only 90 seconds.

The is a piece called Loose Ends and it is by Tom Lox. I like how this hardly has any background setting to it. I also like the accents, that is a massive part that stands out for me. I also like how they build up suspense by saying they are "Waiting" for something. When what they are waiting for comes, it is like a mutant human which adds a comedic value to it.   i also like how they use swear words that aren't  actually swear words, such as "Feck'in" and "Gob-Shite".

My  third and final clip is one called Cool Unicorn Bruv and it is by Ninian Doff.
